DIA Hosts Cross-Border Go-Global Matchmaking Session for Over 20 Beijing 'Specialised and Sophisticated' Enterprises
To deepen Beijing-Macao digital economy cooperation and promote Macao's appropriate economic diversification, the Macao Digital Innovation Association hosted a 'Cross-Border Go-Global Matchmaking Session' in Macao on 15 April for over 20 Beijing 'specialised, refined, distinctive and innovative' enterprises, with support from the Haidian Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office.
Participating companies spanned artificial intelligence, AI molecular computing, cloud computing, cybersecurity and biomedicine — including 51WORLD, Volcano Engine, Zhongguancun Science City City Brain, Glodon and Sinovac Holdings — many of them national or municipal 'Little Giant' enterprises.
The Association invited officers from IPIM's Investment Promotion Division to present Macao's advantages as a launchpad for overseas expansion. The two sides engaged in practical matchmaking on technology transfer, overseas promotion, talent exchange and project implementation, with several companies reaching preliminary intentions for joint R&D, digital scenario applications and computing-power and data infrastructure cooperation.
Legislative Assembly member and DIA President Vong Ka Lon attended and delivered remarks, stating that the Association will continue to serve as a bridge and platform, helping more mainland technology enterprises expand through Macao into Portuguese-speaking countries and international markets, injecting new momentum into Macao's digital economy.
